On Thursday 11 April, more than 45 CFOs and investors came together for the second edition of Impact Ready – How Finance can drive long-term value. Let’s look back on this inspiring evening together.
Impact Ready is a special event for our network of CFOs and investors, designed to debate with our expert panel and the audience about long-term value creation in finance for the impact challenges of growth companies. It is an opportunity to learn, to inspire, and to connect.
After this edition, all participants went home full of inspiration — and that’s no surprise with an expert panel consisting of Professor Dr. Willem Schramade, Professor of Finance at Nyenrode Business University, Dr. Diane Zandee, Assistant Professor at Nyenrode Business University, Ferry van Halem, Founder & Chief Value Officer at Elemental, and Frederik Deutman, Managing Partner at SevenGen Investment Partners.
The programme started with an opening speech by Martijn Wassink, founder of Greyt, in the Event Space of the Social Impact Factory in Utrecht. Willem Schramade then took the stage for his keynote on the strategic aspects of long-term value creation.
Next, the expert panel — consisting of Diane, Ferry and Frederik, together with Willem — joined the stage. Under the moderation of Martijn, they engaged in a conversation with the audience, covering questions such as the role of the CFO in the transition to sustainability, what investors need from their CFOs, and the future of impact finance.
After the content part, it was time for drinks, where delicious bites and beverages were served and there was plenty of networking.
