Greyt announces leadership transition – a new phase following the successful shift to Finance as a Service
Greyt, the leading provider of fractional and interim CFO and Controller services in the Netherlands, announces a key change in its leadership. As of 1 July 2025, Richard Veffer will step down from his role as Managing Partner. He will remain an active Partner at Greyt, focusing his full energy on client work and strategic initiatives that contribute to the company’s continued growth.
In recent years, Greyt has focused on strengthening its foundation as a team-based organization — built around collaboration and active knowledge-sharing. By working with fractional CFO and Controller teams, Greyt offers an effective model to help companies scale efficiently. Internally, the firm has also invested in its governance structure to grow further as a successful partner-led organization.
Since the end of 2023, Richard has led this complex transition with vision, determination, and dedication. Under his leadership a solid and future-proof foundation has been established, which has demonstrably strengthened Greyt’s position as a leading expert in fractional CFO and Controller services
“This step doesn’t mark a farewell, but a shift in focus,” says Richard. “Greyt now stands as a mature, collective organization with a strong foundation. That gives me the opportunity to fully refocus on our clients — and on building new initiatives within Greyt.”
The strength of the collective
The appointment of a new Managing Partner will be determined collectively by the partner group, in line with Greyt’s structure as a fully partner-led organization. The official announcement is expected in fall this year.
Until then, leadership will be jointly held by the Greyt Leadership Team (GLT), effective 1 July 2025. Statutory directors Ed van Viegen (CFO/COO) and Rudolf Maas Geesteranus (CCO) will take on the responsibilities of the Managing Partner role on an interim basis. Together, they will ensure continuity and steer the ongoing course and growth ambitions of Greyt.

Greyt kondigt wijziging in leiderschap aan – een volgende fase na succesvolle transitie naar Finance as a Service.
Greyt, marktleider in fractional en interim CFO -en Controllerdiensten, kondigt een belangrijke wijziging aan in haar leiderschap. Per 1 juli 2025 draagt Richard Veffer zijn rol als Managing Partner van Greyt over. Vanuit zijn positie als Partner blijft hij actief betrokken binnen Greyt en richt hij zich met volle energie op de inzet bij klanten en op strategische initiatieven die bijdragen aan de groei van het bedrijf.
De afgelopen periode heeft Greyt zich gericht op het versterken van haar fundament als teamgerichte organisatie, waar samenwerking en kennisdeling centraal staan. Door de inzet van fractional CFO’s en Controllers als team, biedt Greyt een passende oplossing om bedrijven zo effectief mogelijk te versterken in hun groei. Tegelijkertijd is er gewerkt aan de interne governance om Greyt verder te ontwikkelen als een succesvolle partnerorganisatie. Sinds het einde van 2023 heeft Richard deze complexe verandering met visie, daadkracht en toewijding geleid. Onder leiding van Richard is een stevige en toekomstbestendige basis neergezet, waarmee Greyt haar positie als toonaangevend expert in fractionele CFO- en Controller-diensten aantoonbaar heeft versterkt.
“Deze stap markeert geen afscheid, maar een verschuiving van focus,” aldus Richard. “Greyt staat nu als volwassen organisatie, met een stevige basis en een collectief leiderschap. Dat geeft mij ruimte om mij weer meer te richten op onze klanten en op het ontwikkelen van nieuwe initiatieven binnen Greyt.”
De kracht van het collectief
De opvolging van Richard als Managing Partner zal collectief worden bepaald door de partnergroep, zoals dat past bij een volwaardige partnerorganisatie. Dit zal naar verwachting in het najaar officieel bekend gemaakt worden.
Tot die tijd wordt het leiderschap vanaf 1 juli 2025 gezamenlijk waargenomen door het bestaande Greyt Leadership Team (GLT). Hierbinnen nemen de statutair directeuren Ed van Viegen (CFO/COO) en Rudolf Maas Geesteranus (CCO) tijdelijk de Managing Partner verantwoordelijkheden op zich. Samen waarborgen zij de continuïteit en blijven zij sturing geven aan de koers en groeiambitie van Greyt.
Focus op klantimpact en duurzame groei
Met deze wijzigingen in leiderschap en met het collectieve fundament van Greyt blijft de organisatie ambitieus en koersvast. Met een heldere strategie, sterke klantfocus, en een team van betrokken professionals dat samenwerkt aan duurzame impact bij scale-ups en mid-market bedrijven.
